Meanwhile, my Rebel 450 sits sadly in the yard. I hear it crying every time I step out the front door...Alas, t'will ne'er move again, I fear. And he bitches about having a working motorcycle.

Some people just aren't ever happy.
Oh, well, I married him for better or for worse - and his hatred of Japanese bikes definitely qualifies "for worse"!
Linnette, thanks anyway, but I'd much rather YOU ride your Savage...we like you too much to lose you.
Fats, man, I hope spring comes soon - you're weirding out on us. (Friction coefficient between rubber/feathers/eggs ?????)
Jabawacki, give it up. He'll never use the front brake. If I can't make him, you guys *damned* sure can't make him. (I use it, I don't care how loud it squeals.)
Bob-CH, man, I really wish you had come over this summer. You're one great fellow.
Mountainman-WD wouldn't know good BBQ if it bit him in the ass (he IS from Washington state, ferchrissake!) Well, maybe it's just different tastes but Memphis BBQ is THE BEST. And mountain twisties? Bring 'em on. I'm game!
John - disregard WD's plea for a Harley. I won't let him have one!!! (OK, he just gives in to me, I'm spoiled, dontcha know!)

I haven't posted for a while and I just wanted to tell all of you guys (and gals) that you're good people. All of you. And I enjoy reading your comments. Intelligent, bike-loving, witty people. My kinda folk.
-Lisa
